1982 Gibson Korina Flying V Prototype electric guitar. Originally designed by Gibson in 1957 as one of the three ‘modernistic’ solid body concept guitars, which also included the Moderne and Explorer models.
Of the three, the Flying V may be considered the most popular. Reissued by Gibson in 1982 as part or the ‘Heritage Series’ this mint condition Moderne was made from African Korina wood (also known as limba).
